These general terms and conditions have been drawn up as simply and clearly as possible. The solid legal text is also available to you, via this link.

Definition: You: that’s you, the customer.

Me: that’s me, the seller.

Applicability

  • These general terms and conditions apply to every contract concluded.
  • You can read or download the general terms and conditions before you buy something in the online shop.
  • With some products different conditions apply, for example with digital products, even then the general conditions apply.

Offer

  • We always tell you in advance when and how you can buy something, what it costs and whether you can exchange it.
  • If there is a small error on the website, and if it is in your favor you you will have the most beneficial offer. Except if there is a mega big blunder on the site (think: comma 2 places wrong) and you could have known this in advance.

Agreement

  • The shipping costs when using your right of withdrawal are for your account.
  • When the product is received in good condition by me, you will receive the money back within 14 days.

Price

  • The price is in Euros including 21% VAT.
  • The shipping costs are calculated separately and are not included in the price.

Conformity and warranty

  • You receive the products you order.
  • The agreement comes into being when you place an order.
  • You always receive a confirmation in your mailbox.
  • You will receive all the information you need with your order. You can also read most of it on the site.

Right of withdrawal

  • The right of withdrawal means that you can submit your product for return within 14 days without giving any reason.
  • After this you have 14 days to actually return the product.
  • With your order you will receive a model form and instructions on how you can return the product.
  • When buying a digital product, you declare that you renounce your right of withdrawal because you cannot send back a digital product.
  • Damaged products (this does not apply to packaging) cannot be returned.
  • You as a customer are responsible for returning the product safely and in good condition.
  • The shipping costs when using your right of withdrawal are for your account.
  • If the product is received in good condition by me, you will receive the money back within 14 days.
  • If something is wrong with the product, I do my best to solve it as quickly and as well as possible.

Price

  • The price is in euros including 21% VAT.
  • The shipping costs are calculated separately and are not included in the price.

Delivery and execution

  • Products from stock are sent as soon as possible but within 5 working days.
  • If a product is no longer available, you always get your money back or, if you agree, a replacement product.
  • If you order multiple products and one or more of these products is not available at the time of ordering, the entire delivery will be sent at the moment that all products are available.
  • If a product gets damaged or lost before it arrives at your destination that is my responsibility. If a product is damaged in the sending process, take pictures of how the product was delivered and mail it to laura@lauwpauw.com. Then I will provide a suitable solution.

Payment

  • You can pay in advance via iDeal or by transferring money to my bank account.
  • You can pay with Paypal.
  • It is possible to pay 50% of the purchase price in advance by bank transfer and 50% at the door upon delivery COD. This means that there are administration and shipping costs that have to be paid in advance.
  • Paying while picking up products in my studio is also possible. With pin or cash.
  • For products which are made especially for you there is a payment up front of 50% and 50% upon completion, before delivery. For the first 50% downpayment restitution is not possible.
  • In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer you the following payment methods. Payment is to be made to Klarna.
    • Pay in 14 days: The payment period is 14 days from shipment of the goods or tickets/ availability date of the service.     • Financing: With the financing service from Klarna you can pay your purchase in flexible or fixed monthly instalments according to the conditions stated in the checkout. The instalment payment is due at the end of each month after submission of a separate monthly invoice by Klarna. Further information regarding Slice It including terms and conditions and Standard European Consumer Credit Information you can find here for the markets where this payment method is available: Austria, the United KingdomGermanySwedenNorwayDenmark and Finland.
    • Direct bank transfer: Available in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland and the Netherlands. Your account will be debited directly after placement of your order.
    • Direct Debit: Your account will be debited after shipment of the goods or tickets/ availability date of the service ​or in case of a subscription in accordance with the timelines communicate​d. You will be notified about the date(s) by email.
    • Card Payments: Available in Sweden, Germany and Austria. The amount will be reserved on your card and will be debited after shipment of the goods or tickets/ availability date of the service. In case of a subscription the amount will be debited in accordance with the timelines communicated.

    The payment methods Pay in 14 days, Slice It and direct debit are only available in case of a positive credit assessment. For this purpose, during the order process and handling of your purchase, we forward your data for an address and credit check to Klarna. We can only offer you the payment methods available based on the result of the credit check. General information about Klarna and the user terms per country can be found on klarna.com. Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and in accordance with the information in Klarnas privacy statement.

Complaints regulation

  • If you have a complaint about a product, please let me know as soon as possible. Describe your problem clearly so that I can help you as well as possible.
  • I do my best to remedy your complaint as quickly and as well as possible.
  • You will receive an answer to your complaint within 5 working days.
  • If I cannot help you immediately, I’ll let you know how long it will take before I can solve your problem.
  • If you live in the EU you can also submit a complaint via the European Online Dispute Resolution Platform LINK. But I prefer to help you solve the problem myself.

Additional or deviating provisions

  • These were the general conditions, if I make changes in conditions in the future you can find it on the site.
  • If an error or unlawful provision is included in these terms and conditions, the rest of the general conditions remain in effect.
