“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.”― Pablo Picasso

The quote is from Picasso. When Picasso saw the drawings in the caves of Lascaux from 30,000 years ago, he said: “We have learned nothing”.

I have noticed that a lot of us have unlearned something very essential to our human nature….

I think that almost everyone has an early memory in which you drew or painted something, you were quite proud of it, but, to put it mildly, the reaction to the artwork was not very nice at all.

Then you told yourself that you “just can’t do it”. I think that’s a shame and unnecessary as well.

I made it my mission to make this thought disappear, and to move from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset.

You will not immediately paint like Rembrandt or Picasso, but you can discover that a workshop can be very inspiring, surprising and challenging in a fun way. You will have a great result and you can be proud of yourself.

If you know where to start and receive step-by-step explanations, you will succeed. And let that be my specialty, so I will gladly help you with that!

A workshop almost always has the same structure:

  • Welcome with coffee / tea and a snack
  • Explanation and tips
  • Sketch phase
  • Creating a final work
  • Conclusion and review

DID YOU KNOW:

  • Workshops are accessible to everyone, including absolute beginners?
  • You also learn a lot by working with others in a workshop because you can also learn from each other and inspire each other?
  • Making art is good for your brain and how you feel, even if you think you’re not good at it?
  • New inspiration often comes to mind when you are “messing around” or trying it out?
  • A workshop is also fun as a bachelor party or a fun day out with friends?
